St. Louis native KaLonda Kay is making waves in the music industry with her latest single, “It’s You.” With a background deeply rooted in the entertainment world, KaLonda‘s diverse talents and experiences have shaped her artistry and allowed her to deliver a unique sound that resonates with listeners.
Born and raised in a family of successful business owners, KaLonda found her passion fordance and music at an early age. From dancing at Judy Best Talent Center to singing opera at the renowned Fox Theater’s Annual “Nutcracker” production, she quickly established herself as a multifaceted artist. Her journey continued as she delved into teaching dance in the St. Louis
region and landed a leading role in the historical Urban Hip-Hop Musical “Real Life” at the Black Repertory Theater.
In addition to her musical endeavors, KaLonda has also ventured into acting, working alongside celebrity actor Carl Anthony Payne II in the On the Set Summer Film Camp in Nashville, Tennessee. She has showcased her acting skills on the national BET Network and landed a lead role in “Don’t Go There” on St. Louis Public Radio. KaLonda‘s talent extends beyond performing, as she has taken on various roles such as Associate Director, Lighting Director, and Choreographer for theater productions.
