With his raw, deep yet anguished voice, Conner is a bohemian soulful artist. But on “Blues”, he showcases a darker deeper aspect of his voice. The rise of his 2018 debut, “Blues” was successfully locally due to his peers. His use of horns, in their aggressive effect were simply a captivating accessory. Finalizing production on “Blues”, Conner hopes to become what he intended to be: a tortured soul, with a desperation for a hopeful light.
LaBronn Conner’s journey to start and finish production was a long, solemn period. Born in Selma, Alabama and was raised in East Cleveland, pursuing music during his Junior year of high school, and he was writing songs and singing for his local church. Keeping his name LaBronn Conner, he began recording a single untitled at the time with producer Joona Lukala, who would be his first pivotal collaborator. The start of a journey with of his music.
