Thomas Berry Jr, more commonly known as “Tommy B”, was brought up in strong family full of entertainment stemming from both his mother and father. His exposure to all genres of music, along with acting and dance performance helped develop his passion of the arts. This ultimately helped shape his life from an early age on.

Tommy B, enjoyed performing for others; from class clown, drama arts, and family reunions, he loved being the center of attention. The desire to entertain people became his passion, but it was his fascination of word play found in songs that became his driving force. Hip hop music and its culture quickly absorbed his life, and he began writing his thoughts in rhyme form. Writing verses turned into battles amongst friends, ultimately feeding his desire even more.
