G – Would You

G is a singer, songwriter and producer living in Geneva, Switzerland. He also sets an unrecorded milestone in the Swiss R&B genre. Thus, the Swiss and French media praise the quality of his musical talents, saying that “he is as talented as Joe.”

Fascinated by American black music at a young age, he started his career as a member of a dance group he formed with a few friends. Rapidly the group got enough public attention, allowing them to perform at many shows all over Switzerland. At the age of 18 years, as a member of “Intimate” and R&B group, he created with the same group of friends, they sang titles inspired by musical groups such as New Edition, Troop, Bbd, Jodeci and Bobby Brown. “Intimate” quickly gained considerable public attention positioning themselves as a promising talent of the local R&B scene. In 1995 at the Leysin Festival, the band performed during this famous festival and as an opening act of the first part of Montell Jordan’s concert – a major singer of that R&B era.
