IR: Let’s get to know a little bit more about you and how you grew up. So where do you consider hometown and what type of kid were you growing up?
FBM: I consider Hyattsville MD my hometown, as a kid I was forced to provide for myself so I was in and out of the streets selling drugs just trying to provide for me and my family.
IR: How old were you when you developed an interest in music?
FBM: I really didn’t get into music until a few years ago, I had a lot of time on my hands and was just trying to keep myself busy and stay out of trouble. So I played around in the studio from time to time.
IR: What was the first album you ever listened to? Can you remember back that far?
FBM: The first album I ever listened to was Hot Boys by Birdman and Little Wayne.
IR: When and how did you begin your journey in the world of music?
FBM: My brother had taken me to the studio with him one night and I just starting playing around in the booth.
IR: What influences shaped your musical style?
FBM: Gucci Mane really shaped my music style in the beginning but now i’m really influenced by The Migos
IR: How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard it before?
FBM: I would say my style is very East Coast, as in Down South Rap.
IR: Do you write a lot by yourself or do you have a partner or a group of people you work with?
FBM: I don’t do any type of writing, I just go off the top of my head and base my lyrics off my personal life.
IR: What is your main goal at this point?
FBM: To be a successful artist and make it in the music industry
IR: Have you learned any lessons so far and if so, what are they?
FBM: I’ve learned you have to watch who you let listen to your music. and to always stay on your grind.
IR: Are there any artists you wish to work with in the future?
FBM: Jay Z
IR: If you could create your dream tour, who would be a part of it?
FBM: Waka Flocka, Shy Glizzy, Young Thugger, Phil da Future
