IR: Let’s get to know a little bit more about you guys and how you grew up. So where do you consider hometown and what type of kids were you growing up?
P-IC: P-IC consists of two members UG- I’m from Uganda which is a country in east Africa IC- I’m from Chicago illinois but both of us reside in Indianapolis Indiana.
IR: How old were you guys when you developed an interest in music?
UG: I developed an interest in music at a young age probably like 8 my father was a musician in Africa and would always be playing his guitar at home singing with the family and also at church he was involved with the musical side of it aside from being a preacher.
IC: I developed it at the age of 9 i used to spend summers in New York with my uncle and he used to play reggae and hip hop all day and night.
IR: What was the first album you ever listened to? Can you remember back that far?
UG: It was me against the world or all eyes on me, In Africa tupac was popping so thats the first rapper i really knew about.
IC: First album i listened to was Master P ghetto dope i grew up in the south and thats what my cousin and paps were listening to.
IR: When and how did you begin your journey in the world of music?
P-IC: We both met playing football at a D2 school in Indiana. We were on full scholarship but our love for music made us drop everything and start on this music career.
IR: What influences shaped your musical style?
P-IC: Outkast, jay z, bob Marley, biggie, method & Redman and some more we are probably forgetting lol
IR: How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard it before?
P-IC: Honestly we just bring a new sound to the game. We don’t want to sound like anyone in the game because when you fall in that category you don’t become one of the greats and we wanna be one of the greats.
IR: How long have you guys been working together?
P-IC : We been working together for about 6 years and counting.
IR: What is your main goal at this point
P-IC: Our main goal is to sustain and maintain a solid fan base with this skywalkin sound while becoming legends in the music business.
IR: Have you learned any lessons so far and if so, what are they?
P-IC: You can never know how you will make it in this industry its just trail and error so be prepared to overcome obstacles.
IR: Are there any artists you wish to work with in the future?
P-IC: Any dope artist that want to work with us, but if i had to name someone it would pharrell
IR: If you could create your dream tour, who would be a part of it?
P-IC: Jay z, kanye, outkast, curren$y, method man & Redman
